  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1/2 lb
  • eggs, separated - 6 item
  • soda - 1/4 tsp

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time. Mix in sour cream and dry ingredients, alternating. Beat egg whites; fold into batter. Stir in vanilla. Bake in greased tube pan at 325° for 1 hour.
