  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • eggs, separated - 6 item
  • soda - 1/4 tsp

How to make sour cream cake:

Cream butter and sugar; add one egg yolk at a time and beat well. Add sour cream and soda; beat. Add flour, beat and add beaten egg whites. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes in 300° oven. Turn out immediately. Do not open oven door while cake is baking.
