  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 lb
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add flour, soda and sour cream, alternately. Add vanilla. Bake in tube pan which has been greased and floured for 1 1/2 hours at 300°. Start checking baking time at 1 1/4 hours.
