Sour cream enchiladas
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- sour cream - 8 oz
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can chopped green chiles - 1 oz
- flour tortillas - 12 item
- Monterey Jack cheese, cut in 12 strips - 1 lb
How to make sour cream enchiladas:
Wilt onion in butter. Add half and half. Set aside. Fry tortillas lightly in hot oil. Dip in half and half mixture, one at a time. Put a strip of cheese on each. Roll.Arrange in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour remaining half and half mixture over tortillas. Mix chiles and sour cream and spoon over tortillas. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes until mixture is bubbly.
