Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- Add the eggs and beat again
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Beat margarine, shortening and sugar together. Add the eggs and beat again. Add flour, baking powder and soda that were mixed together, adding the vanilla and then the sour cream. Mix well. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a greased tube pan.Make A Mix Of:1/3 c. sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. chopped walnuts Sprinkle 1/2 this mixture on top of the batter. Add rest of the batter and pour over the top the remaining sugar-nut mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
