Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- margarine - 3/4 c
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1/3 c. brown sugar1/2 c. white sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 c. nuts, chopped Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla until light. Beat in 1 egg at a time. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream, starting and ending with flour. Place half the batter in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle half of the topping over the mixture. Pour rest of the batter in pan and sprinkle remaining topping on top. Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350° (9-inch layers, 30 to 40 minutes).Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
