Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- confectioners sugar
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- finely chopped walnuts - 1 c
- 2 sticks butter - 1 c
How to make snowballs:
Cream butter in a large mixing bowl. Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Add walnuts and mix. Chill.Shape into balls about 3/4 inch in diameter. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in 400° oven. Roll in confectioners sugar when cool.
