- apples, peeled, cored and cut in 1-inch thick slices - 3 to
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- flour
- sugar - 1 c
- stick cold butter - 1 item
How to make apple crisp:
Crumb Topping:1 c. flour1 c. sugar1 stick cold butter Prepare apples. Add cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice, stirring to coat apples well. Place on bottom of 9 x 9-inch pan. Set aside.Mix flour and sugar together for topping. Using fork, add stick of butter; blend well. Sprinkle on top of apples. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Peaches may be used instead of apples.
