Black bottom cups
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- cocoa - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- cream cheese, softened
How to make black bottom cups:
Filling:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1/3 c. sugar1 egg1/8 tsp. salt1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well. Stir in water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Spoon batter into paper-lined muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.Combine cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add egg and salt, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Spoon 1 heaping teaspoonful of cream cheese mixture into the center of each cup. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack and finish cooling. Yields 2 dozen.
