Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- granulated sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- sifted flour
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, cream of tartar and salt together. Add to other ingredients. Chill in refrigerator. Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon in a bowl. Take 1 teaspoon of chilled dough. Roll into balls. Roll in cinnamon mixture.
