Ingredients/Components
- shortening - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sugar
- flour
- salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make snickerdoodles:
Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift in flour, cream of tarter, salt and soda. Blend well. Roll the dough into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll balls in mixture of 3 Tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet.*
