Ingredients/Components

butter soft - 1 c
brown sugar - 1 c
white sugar - 1 c
eggs - 3 item
baking soda - 1 tsp
flour
cinnamon - 2 tsp
nuts chopped
vanilla - 1 tsp
dash salt optional I just use lightly salted butter - 1 item

How to make ice box cookies:

Preheat oven to 350. Mix with mixer butter and both sugars. Add eggs, creaming mixture. Mix dry ingredients and add gradually. After well mixed, stir in vanilla and nuts with spoon. Roll into logs then roll logs in floured cling wrap. Store overnight. Slice and bake. Dough lasts for a long time in frig.

This recipe has very warm memories for me. My Grandma always had this dough on hand and whenever we would visit we had warm cookies in minutes.
