Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- can water - 1 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- round steak or cube steak
How to make smothered steak:
Cut steak into serving pieces. Pepper to taste and roll in flour. Sear on both sides in hot fry pan with just enough shortening to prevent sticking. Remove and place in covered roaster or deep pan. Pour soup and water over meat and simmer at 275°Recipe categories: Low sodium, Meat, Beef.
