Mom's sweet and sour ribs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- ketchup - 2/3 c
- tomato sauce - 8 oz
- small clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- country style ribs - 2 lbs
How to make mom's sweet and sour ribs:
Place ribs in single layer in pan. Broil on all sides until well browned, drain grease. Combine other ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Pour over ribs. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until sauce has thickened. Spoon sauce over ribs frequently while baking.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Very low carbs, Main dish.
