Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- molasses - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- tomatoes - 1 lb
- green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- round steak, cut in strips
- Worcestershire or soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
How to make smothered steak:
Put steak strips, flour, salt and pepper in slow cooker. Stir well to coat steak. Add all remaining ingredients. Cook on high 1 hour, then turn to low and cook 8 hours.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Meat, Beef.
