Ingredients/Components
- grated cheese - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1 item
- can LeSueur English peas, drained - 1 item
- lettuce, chopped - 2 c
- celery, sliced thin - 1 c
- can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced - 1 item
- green pepper, sliced thin - 1 c
- onion, sliced thinly - 1 c
How to make salad:
Layer in bowl as listed. Spread with layer of mayonnaise approximately 1/3-inch thick. Sprinkle with approximately 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar. Cover with 1/2 to 1 c. grated cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low sodium, Salads.
