Smoked sausage and bean soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 6 c
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 1 tsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- bottled minced garlic - 1 tsp
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 oz
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- can red kidney beans, drained - 1 oz
- instant beef bouillon - 1 tsp
- medium potatoes, chopped - 2 item
- fully cooked smoked turkey sausage, sliced - 8 oz
- preshredded cole slaw mix - 2 c
How to make smoked sausage and bean soup:
In large pot, cook the onion and garlic in margarine until tender. Add the water, potatoes, sausage, beans and bouillon. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
