Smoked oyster roll
Ingredients/Components
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- minced fresh parsley - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 2 Tbsp
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste - 1 item
- grated onion - 1 Tbsp
- dash of Tabasco - 1 item
- cream cheese at room temperature - 16 oz
- each cans smoked oysters - 2 3/4
How to make smoked oyster roll:
Place the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, onion and garlic salt in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drain the oysters; rinse away the excess oil and pat dry. Place in shallow bowl; mash with fork. Spread cheese mixture into a rectangle on a piece of plastic wrap. Spread the oysters on top of cheese, leaving 1/2-inch cheese uncovered on all sides. Roll up, jelly-roll fashion. Sprinkle the top of roll with minced parsley.
