Shrimp with garlic butter
Ingredients/Components
- cloves garlic, minced - 3 item
- minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
- lemon wedges - 1 item
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- jumbo shrimp - 2 lb
- olive oil approximately - 3/4 c
How to make shrimp with garlic butter:
Slit each shrimp down the back without removing the shell. Flatten and place cut side up in a shallow broiler pan. Sprinkle with the garlic and olive oil and put under a preheated broiler. Broil 3 minutes, then turn the shrimp. Broil an additional 4 minutes, or until the flesh is opaque and the shrimp are cooked through. Transfer to a warmed platter. Pour the cooking liquid over the shrimp and sprinkle with the parsley and lemon juice. Garnish with lemon wedges. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Shrimp.
