  • mayonnaise - 3 c
  • hard-boiled eggs - 4 item
  • large onion - 1 item
  • cube butter - 1 item
  • can crab - 1 oz
  • cans shrimp - 2 item
  • celery, finely sliced - 1 c
  • large loaf white sandwich bread - 1 item

How to make seafood salad:

Cut crusts form bread. Spread lightly with butter. Cut each slice into small cubes. Add chopped onion and finely chopped eggs. Refrigerate overnight. Next morning, add seafood, celery and mayonnaise; mix lightly to combine well. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours. Pile lightly on plate lined with lettuce leaves. Garnish with olives, cucumber, tomatoes, etc. Serves 12. Putting the salad on lettuce leaves and using the garnishes are optional. I just serve the salad without these in a salad bowl.
