Seafood casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- margarine
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- dash of hot sauce - 1 item
- raw shrimp - 1 c
- crushed herb stuffing mix - 1 c
- plus fish fillet mild white fish - 1 lb
How to make seafood casserole:
Filling:2/3 c. margarine1 c. crushed herb stuffing mix1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms1 egg, slightly beaten1 c. raw shrimp1 (6 oz.) pkg. crab dash of hot sauce1 tsp. lemon juice2 Tbsp. butter Arrange 1/2 of the fish in the bottom of Pyrex pan (like 8-inch square). Make "filling" by mixing the next 8 ingredients together. Spread filling over fish. Add top layer of rest of fish. The topping is 1/2 cup crushed stuffing and 2 tablespoons butter. Mix and sprinkle over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
