Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/8 tsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- quick or old fashioned oats - 1 c
- currants or raisins - 1/4 c
How to make scottish scones:
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening and butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, then mix in oats and currants.
