Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- salt and pepper
- medium potatoes - 8 item
- slices bacon - 6 item
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- American or Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Peel and slice potatoes. Place a layer of potatoes and half of the cheese (sliced) and half of the onion in oven casserole. Repeat the layer. Add salt, pepper and milk. Cover top with bacon. Cover dish with aluminum foil. Bake 45 minutes at 375°. Remove foil last 15 minutes. Be sure bacon is cooked well done.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
