Ingredients/Components
- milk
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- large potatoes - 6 item
- parsley - 1/4 c
- chopped chives - 2 Tbsp
- dill weed - 2 tsp
- onion, sliced finely - 1 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Melt the butter; stir in flour, cheese and then milk until smooth. Stir constantly over low-medium heat until thickened (like a white sauce) or in a microwave. Slice potatoes fairly thin and place in a buttered baking dish. Toss with onion. Add the white sauce. Bake at 375° until tender and brown, about 1 hour.
