Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- can creamed corn - 1 oz
- cornstarch not flour - 1 Tbsp
How to make scalloped corn:
Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Beat eggs; add milk and mix well. Stir in the dry ingredients, then the creamed corn. Stir in the melted butter. Pour into greased baking dish. Sprinkle cracker crumbs on top. Bake in a 325° oven until firm for 30 to 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Low fat, Vegetables, Corn.
