Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- eggs, lightly beaten - 3 item
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 3 c
- can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- diced celery - 3/4 c
- cubed, cooked chicken - 3 c
- loaf white bread, cubed - 1/2 item
- cracker crumbs, divided
How to make scalloped chicken:
Combine bread cubes and 1 cup cracker crumbs. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into greased 2-quart dish. Melt butter; brown remaining crumbs and sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Turkey.
