pkg - 1 oz
margarine or butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
cubed cooked chicken or 2 5 oz - 2 c
salt - 1/4 tsp
pepper - 1/8 tsp
milk - 2 Tbsp
chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
chopped pimiento if desired - 1 Tbsp
can crescent dinner rolls - 1 oz
seasoned croutons, crushed - 3/4 c

How to make savory crescent chicken squares:

Heat oven to 350°. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and margarine until smooth. Add next 6 ingredients. Mix well. Separate dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations around edges together to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top of center of chicken mixture; twist slightly and seal edges. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle crouton crumbs on top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 4.
