Ingredients/Components

  • Hillshire Farm sausage - 1 lb
  • converted rice - 3/4 c
  • cream of celery soup - 1 can
  • water - 3/4 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • frozen peas - 10 oz
  • mushrooms, sliced - 1 can
  • grated Swiss cheese - 1 c

How to make sausage skillet supper:

Cut sausage in chunks; combine with rice, soup, water and butter in large skillet at medium heat. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in peas, drained mushrooms and sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked. Yields 4 servings.
