Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/4 c
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • whipping cream
  • margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • chopped fresh parsley - 1/4 c
  • fine bread crumbs - 1 c
  • slices Mozzarella cheese - 6 item
  • grated Romano cheese - 1/2 c
  • boneless chicken breasts, split - 3 item

How to make chicken alfredo:

Cheese Sauce:1 c. whipping cream1/4 c. water1/4 c. margarine1/2 c. grated Romano cheese1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley Wash chicken. Coat chicken with flour. Mix eggs, water, Romano cheese, parsley and salt. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then into bread crumbs. Heat margarine and oil in skillet. Cook chicken over medium heat until brown, 15 to 20 minutes. Remove chicken to baking dish (9 x 13-inches). Preheat oven to 425°. Place 1 slice Mozzarella cheese on top of chicken. Pour cheese sauce over. Bake approximately 12 to 15 minutes or until chicken is done and cheese is melted.

Cheese Sauce Directions: Heat cream, water and margarine in saucepan until margarine melts. Add cheese and cook, stirring, over medium heat 5 minutes. Add parsley.
