Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 tsp
How to make sausage rolls:
Sift flour, salt and baking powder; cut in shortening. Add enough cold water to make ingredients combine. Roll pastry 1/4-inch thick and cut in 8 squares.Sausage Filling: Divide 1 pound of sausage and form in 8 rolls. Brown in frying pan and place on pastry squares, roll, leaving edges open. Place in Pyrex baking pan and bake for 1 hour in medium hot oven.
