Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 item
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- or 4 medium potatoes - 3 item
- can sauerkraut - 1 item
- big onion - 1 item
- or 5 slices bacon thick - 4 item
How to make sauerkraut soup:
Dice bacon slices and saut?© with diced onion. Peel and dice potatoes. Add to bacon and onion. Pour in chicken broth and cook until potatoes are tender. Drain sauerkraut, saving juice. Add kraut. Add juice to suit your taste. Add pepper and salt if needed. If chicken broth does not have enough flavor, you can add chicken bouillon cube, which is salty so be careful about adding salt.
