Ingredients/Components

  • egg - 1 item
  • soy sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • white pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • sesame oil - 1/4 tsp
  • corn starch - 1 tsp
  • cups chicken broth - 2 item

How to make egg drop soup:

Heat broth, pepper, soy sauce and sesame oil until it begins to boil. Put corn starch is small dish, add a tiny bit of water, make a paste and stir into broth. Stir to thicken. Whisk egg, and using a fork, drizzle over boiling soup. Reduce heat to keep warm until ready to serve.

A few tablespoons frozen corn, peas and chopped green onion may be added to soup.
