Salmon patties
Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 1/3 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/3 c
- can salmon, drained and flaked - 1 1/2
- cornmeal or dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
How to make salmon patties:
Mix all ingredients except vegetable oil. Shape into patties. Heat oil, 1 1/2 to 2-inches, in heavy skillet until hot. Fry patties, turning once, 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain. Yields 6 patties.Recipe categories: Main dish, Saltwater fish, Salmon.
