Salmon corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 item
- chopped celery - 2/3 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can cream-style corn - 1 1/2
- can whole kernel corn - 1 oz
- cans salmon - 1 2
- cans condensed cream of celery soup - 2 3/4
How to make salmon corn chowder:
Drain salmon, reserving liquid. Break into large chunks. In saucepan, saute onion and celery in butter or margarine until tender. Add condensed soup, milk and salmon liquid. Cook and stir until smooth. Add salmon and corn. Heat thoroughly. Sprinkle with paprika before serving. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Salmon.
