Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- ground beef - 3 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- soup cans water - 2 item
- cracker crumbs, crushed coarsely - 1 c
How to make salisbury steak:
Mix together and press into a cookie sheet. Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours. Cut into squares. Roll in flour and fry each square in skillet until browned. Place browned meat in roaster. Mix soup and water (soup cans) until blended; pour over meat in roaster. Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Time to make, < 30 mins, Oamc/freezer/make ahead.
