- hot water - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- ketchup - 2 Tbsp
- hamburger
- Season-All
- instant dry onions - 1 tsp
- uncooked oatmeal or fine dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
How to make salisbury steak:
Combine first 5 ingredients with hamburger. Mix with fork just until well blended. Form into 4 (1-inch) thick patties. Broil 5 inches from heat for 10 minutes on each side (for medium). In saucepan, combine gravy mix with remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring, until mixture comes to boil. Serve over meat patties. Makes 4 servings.For flavor variations, use onion or mushroom gravy mix in place of brown gravy.
