Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • sifted flour - 1 c
  • finely chopped walnuts - 1 c

How to make russian tea cakes:

Mix together the butter, sugar and vanilla. Gradually add flour and walnuts. Chill and shape into small balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 15 minutes at 350°. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
