  • celery, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • large turkey - 1 item

How to make roast turkey:

Wash turkey; remove giblets. Separate skin from breast and push slices of onion and pieces of celery into spaces. Fill all other cavities with celery and onion after rubbing with spices.

Put in a 375° oven, breast down, and cook until nearly done (check package for minutes per pound), then turn breast up and bake until brown. Let sit 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
