  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • milk - 3 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • raisins - 1/3 c
  • ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • uncooked rice - 1/3 c

How to make rice pudding:

In a saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Stir in rice and raisins. Cover; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes, or until most of the milk is absorbed. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Spoon into dishes; sprinkle with nutmeg. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
