Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 6 item
- half and half - 1 pt
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 pt
- water - 1/4 1/2
- heavy cream - 1/2 pt
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- rice - 1 c
- nutmeg or cinnamon - 1 item
How to make rice pudding:
Preheat oven at 350°. Beat eggs and sugar until creamy. Add vanilla, lemon juice, heavy cream and half and half. Beat well. Add milk. Cook rice; add to egg mixture.Rinse a Corning dish in cold water; leave wet. Add rice mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon. Set in a cookie sheet with 1/4 to 1/2 cup water in the cookie sheet. Bake until firm, about 1 hour.
