- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- rhubarb, diced
- sour milk - 1 c
- Add milk and flour alternately
How to make rhubarb cake:
Cream the sugar, shortening and egg. Add milk and flour alternately. Put into a 9 x 13-inch well-greased pan.Topping:1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 c. nuts Mix and pour over batter. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
