Pumpkin cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• pumpkin - 1 c
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 3/4 c
• nuts - 1/2 c
• rolled oats
• butterscotch bits - 1 c

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat, then add pumpkin, then rolled oats and dry ingredients, vanilla, bits and nuts. Grease cookie sheets. Drop by teaspoonful. Bake at 375° for 13 to 14 minutes.
