Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 4 c
- celery seed
- mustard seed
- turmeric
- jar
- to 3 sliced onions - 1 item
- salt cut salt in half - 1/2 c
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Put onions in bottom of gallon jar. Slice cucumbers and pack tightly on top. Pour brine over cucumbers and put on lid. Keep in refrigerator. Ready in about a week. Will keep for several months.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
