Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- onions, sliced - 2 item
- pinch of salt and pepper - 1 item
How to make pickled carrots:
Clean, slice and cool carrots, just until they begin to soften (15 to 20 minutes). Drain. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over hot carrots. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 6 hours.Recipe categories: Low protein, Vegetables, Carrots.
