- Icing:1 box confectioners sugar
How to make red velvet cake:
Icing:1 box confectioners sugar1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 stick oleo1 c. nuts Combine oil, flour, sugar, buttermilk, eggs, cocoa, vinegar, soda, and salt. Mix well. Add vanilla and food coloring. Bake in 3 9-inch greased and floured pans on 350° for 25 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost.Icing: Combine oleo and cream cheese. Add confectioners sugar. Mix well. Stir in nuts. Frost layers, sides and top of cake.
