- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2/3 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- butter room temperature - 1/2 c
- raspberries frozen or fresh - 2 c
How to make raspberry cake:
Cake:3 c. flour2 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. butter (room temperature)1 1/2 c. sugar2 eggs1 c. sour cream2 c. raspberries (frozen or fresh) Topping: Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Add butter and cut in until mixture resembles coarse meal.Cake: Preheat oven to 375°. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Use electric mixer, cream butter until light. Add sugar. Beat until fluffy. Mix in eggs, one at a time. Mix in dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Pour 1/2 of batter in prepared pan. Spoon berries over. Spoon remaining batter over berries. Sprinkle with topping. Bake approximately 1 hour.
