Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- ground nuts - 1/3 c
- Pillsbury French vanilla frosting
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Filling:4 Tbsp. brown sugar1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/3 c. ground nuts Glaze:1/3 c. Pillsbury French vanilla frosting In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together; add eggs and beat; blend sour cream and milk into mixture. Add small amount of flour, baking powder and salt at a time and beat very well. Add vanilla and mix. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased Bundt pan and sprinkle with filling. Then pour balance of batter. Bake 350° for 45 to 55 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes; then invert onto plate. Cool completely, and glaze.Glaze: Melt vanilla frosting in saucepan and pour over cake.
