  • sugar - 1 item
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 item
  • milk
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • chopped walnuts - 1 item
  • Set aside

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Mix 1 1/4 cups walnuts, 1/4 cup white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and 1/3 cup melted butter to make filling. Set aside. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Cream 1/2 cup butter or margarine, add 1 cup sugar, eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla, then alternately add dry ingredients and sour cream. Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan. Fill with half of the batter. Sprinkle 2/3 of filling over batter. Add remaining batter, then top with remaining filling. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from pan. Mix glaze and drizzle over cake. Makes about 12 servings.Glaze:1 c. powdered sugar1/4 c. chopped walnuts1 1/2 Tbsp. milk1/4 tsp. vanilla
