Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
  • butter or margarine, softened - 1/2 c
  • rolled oats - 1 c
  • Bran Buds - 2 Tbsp
  • Sun Giant raisins
  • Sun Giant chopped dates - 1 c
  • Sun Giant chopped natural almonds - 1 c

How to make raisin energy bars:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine butter, egg and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Add the oats and flour, stirring until well mixed. Stir in the raisins, almonds, dates and chocolate chips. Spread butter evenly in the prepared pan and sprinkle with bran. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool in pan before cutting into squares.
