Oatmeal-raisin cookies
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 3/4 c
- 1 c - 1 pkg
- rolled oats - 3 c
How to make oatmeal-raisin cookies:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease cookie sheets. Combine butter, sugars, egg and vanilla; beat until well blended. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in upper third of oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets; cool on wire racks.
